A Texas district court judge issued an injuction allowing vote by mail due to covid-19 holding that anyone who is not immunce to coronavirus should be able to vote by mail.
![]() The Louisiana Presidential Primary and Municipal Elections were moved from April 4, 2020, then to June 20, 2020 and now to July 11, 2020 due to the imment threat of coronavirus/covid-19. The Louisiana legislature rejected the Secretary of State's Emergency Voting Plan on April 15, 2020. The Secretary submitted a new plan today (4/21/2020) and the House and Senate Affairs and Government Committees will consider the new plan tomorrow (4/22/2020). The new plan allows for certain covid-19 related exceptions but does not go far enough to allow universal voting by mail. Read Aylin's comments to committee here. |
